How can you know that your information is sent over a secure connection?

Before entering your personal information, look at the website's address. If the address begins with "https", you are in a secure, encrypted environment. The "s" in "https" stands for "secure." This is the first (and easiest) way to know that your connection is protected.

• * Look for the lock symbol in your browser's address bar. It shows that a secure connection is in place.
• * Your payments are processed by PayPal, one of the world's most trusted payment services. Whether you pay with PayPal, Venmo, or a credit/debit card, your payment details go directly to PayPal over an encrypted connection.
• * We never see or store your card number. Paying by card does not require a PayPal account.
